Crisis Café

The Crisis Café at Kettering Mind offers support and safety to anyone over the age of 18 years old, in need of mental health support.

Supported Housing

We deliver a range of supported housing services that offer a safe environment in which people can recover and build confidence, helping them feel better equipped to live independently in the local community.

Mental Health Navigators

Our mental health navigators provide guidance, support, motivation and local information in the community to help improve your wellbeing.

Monday Drop In

Come along and socialise with your peers from 11am to 1pm every Monday (except Bank Holidays) and have soup, cake or drink from our café.

Peer Support

Our peer support group is a space where members draw on their own lived experiences to offer mutual support, understanding, and encouragement.

Student Mental Health

A service for students, 16 years or older studying at 6th form, college or university, who are looking for mentoring support to help them cope with student life.

Hoarding Peer Support

Group sessions for those effected by hoarding to help you reclaim your space and make positive changes to your life.

Accessibility

We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and able to take part in our services. If you are visiting us for the first time, here are some of the ways we can support you, whether you’re coming to the Crisis Café, joining peer support, or attending one of our courses.

How we can support you

Hearing support: We have a radio frequency digital receiver system available to suit different hearing needs.

Language support: An instant voice translator device is available, allowing conversations in over 100 languages.

Wheelchair access: Our building and garden are fully wheelchair accessible.

Easy entry: An accessible doorbell is available for anyone who may need assistance entering the building.

Sensory support: We offer a wide range of fidget and sensory items in different sizes, shapes, textures and colours, including light-up, tactile and squishy options.

Comfort items: A weighted blanket is available to help promote calm and relaxation.

Toilets: We have enclosed male, female and gender-neutral toilets, as well as baby changing facilities.

Quiet or prayer space: If you need a quiet space or somewhere to pray, we are happy to make this available.
